Two Door Cinema Club — The Ogden, Denver

I recently got hooked on Two Door Cinema Club. I have to thank Feed Me’s remix of their song “What You Know” for this addiction. I had heard of them before, but never took the time to listen. After Feed Me’s mix was released I listened to it 100 times and realized how much I loved their style and their vocals. I got to digging. I did more researching and ended up downloading all of their music. They are light hearted, their songs have meaning, they’re fun, and make you want to sing along.

My best friend was kind enough to buy me tickets for their show at the Ogden for my birthday. I wasn’t sure how many people were going to be at this show. I was surprised when the venue was pretty much sold out. There were so many people eagerly waiting front row. The floor was packed. They came on and their set lit up. They had such a beautiful light show. I am one for light shows because I attend so many EDM shows and its nice to see other genres put time into their production. They played familiar tracks such as “Spring”, “Sleep Alone”, “Wake Up”, and they even played the “The World Is Watching”. The crowd was dancing and moving the whole time singing every single word. It was quite beautiful to see how happy they were to see such a delightful crowd.

They of course ended with “What You Know” since its the one song everyone seems to love by them. They were authentic and they are all so talented. They sounded exactly the way they do on their recorded music. I hope to see them again and I can’t wait to hear what music they have in store this next year. I would love to see more EDM remixes with their vocals some where down the line.
